cloud of uncertainty looms
movin into my room
someone please
turn the grey skies blue

pulses
lightning streaks across the sky
like my heartbeat
with pace of scurrying mice

flickering lights
on and off they turn
just like my mind
it can't settle

please
someone save me
from this mediocrity
games of waiting and guessing
