a moment like this

the sunflower basks
in its glory today
much like how we stand
in each other's love each day
the weeks and months may pass
and so shall the sunflower
and much like most everything else
ever so transcient
take the photographs
and still frames in your mind
let us all cherish
this special moment in time
parting will be difficult
so get ourselves prepared
lest we forget this distinguished memory
remember the times we shared
